Academics

Congratulations to the Marching Bees for their performance at this years Lynchburg Classic band competition. The bees where awarded first place Music, Visual Ensemble, General Effect, Percussion, and first place in class 4A. The band placed 3rd overall out of 16 bands. GO BEES

Athletics

Interested in swimming or diving? There will be an interest meeting for students and parents on Thursday, October 19th at 6:30. The meeting will be held here at Brookville High School in the multi-purpose room. Come and find out more about the swim team and our first ever diving team.

Clubs

The Thespian Club and SWARM are sponsoring the annual food drive during the month of October. Bring in canned foods for a chance to win free lunch from La Villa or La Carreta for you and 3 friends. One person from each grade level who brings the most cans will receive a $25 gift card to Target. Each grade level will have one winner for free lunch. Bring your cans to Mrs. Emanuel's room in the foreign language hall, before or after school. Let's help feed the hungry in our school and community!

The next POSSA Club meeting is this Friday before and after school. Please attend one meeting; and we will end the coupon book sale this Friday; so bring all money AND any unsold books in their original form to Mr. Scott by Friday.

ATTENTION SWARM! Sign up for the tailgate Friday night before we smash the Cavaliers! Free food and free glow in the dark stuff to be given away!!!

Key Club will meet in the library after school today for our monthly recycling and grounds clean-up. All members, please plan to come help. This counts toward your service hours!

to assist you with your graduation order. They will be set up in Front Lobby during all lunches.
All seniors need to order their cap, gown, and other graduation items on this day.
A $75 deposit is requested to place an order. Extra graduation

Juniors and seniors: Whether you are planning on college, a technical school, the military, or you just aren't sure yet, the ASVAB test can help you figure out the right path for you. If you are interested in joining the military, the ASVAB is a required test that the military uses to determine if you are qualified to join and what areas you would excel in. Taking the ASVAB doesn't obligate you to anything and it is free! It will be held on November 15th. Come to the school counseling office to sign up.

Huge congratulations to the Marching Bees on their performance at the Franklin County Marching Invitational on Saturday. The Bees posted the 2nd highest score out of 21 bands in competition and where one of only 4 superior ratings. Come and cheer on the marching bees this Saturday at the Lynchburg Classic. The bees perform at city stadium at 6:00pm

There will be no open field for softball this evening.

The golf team finished its season yesterday at Regionals. Carter Stone was just 5 strokes away from state qualifying. The Bees are looking forward to next year. See Coach Turner if you are interested in playing golf.
