  • Today’s Key to Successful Learning to focus on is Be Accountable:

    • True or False? It is better to blame others when you do not get your school work done because they stopped you than to take personal responsibility. That, of course, is FALSE. You should always accept personal responsibility when something goes wrong, but more importantly, you should create a plan to fix the issue and get back on track!

Give this a try this week to improve your success both in and out of the classroom! If you feel you need additional support with this tip, ask your teacher or school counselor for assistance.

    • We all think we do not have time to get everything done. However, you have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Martin Luther King Jr., Pythagoras, Mother Teresa, William Shakespeare, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. The one thing they all have in common is that they maximized use of their time rather than wasted it. So take some time to write down what you need to get done every day, schedule what times you will get those things done, and plan for breaks to breathe and refocus.
