Athletics
  • Students- Football season is here! Please do not bring food or drink or backpacks to the football game. You will not be allowed in with these items.
Clubs
  • Hola everybody! If you are interested in joining the Spanish club bring your $3 to any of the Spanish teachers on the foreign language hall. Seniors can join for the low, low price of $1! Hasta luego!
  • The Political Science Club, POSSA, will have it's first meeting this Friday after school at 2:55, in Mr. Scott's room on the History Hallway. Anyone Seniors or Juniors who are interested should attend. Meetings last only 10 minutes. There are no club dues to join.
  • The first meeting of the Debate Team is Tuesday, September 3rd from 3-4pm in Mr. Markey's room 316. We had a student win the State Championship last year and would like to get more, so come out on Tuesday to get more information!
  • The first meeting of our trivia team here at BHS called the ACE team will be on Wednesday, September 4th from 3-4pm in Mr. Markey's room 316. Come join to have a chance to win a state championship for knowing random facts!
  • Sign ups are going on NOW for the tailgate party on Friday night!! Get your name on the list for food count and invite your friends! The theme is Catch A Wave - dress in you best Hawaiian outfits and get ready to have some serious fun! This is open to all BHS students to attend! It is FREE!!! Party starts at 5:30!
  • Interested in SCA? You have until TUESDAY to record your campaign video and turn in your application! See Mrs. Kramer in the library with any questions!

  • Seniors! Don't forget to stop by room 112 and talk to Mrs. Brumfield about your senior ad in the yearbook today!
  • Seniors needing to take formal pictures...LISTEN UP! Photographers will be at BHS on September 11. Please come to the front office to sign up for a time to get your picture taken during an elective period.

  • Come out and support your Lady Bee's Volleyball team tonight in the Hive. The game is against Altavista and JV starts at 5:30 and Varisty starts at 7!

    Do I like to perform theater-style pieces or poetry? If so, you should join the Forensics team!
    Do I like to argue with other people? If so, you should join the Debate team!
    All 3 of these teams give you a chance to win a State Championship! So make sure to visit the ACE, Forensics, and Debate tables today!

  • There will be a meeting for anybody interested in playing baseball this spring on Wednesday, August 28th at 3:00 in the 10th grade health room.

  • National Honor Society will meet this Wednesday in the library. Senior members must choose to attend the morning meeting at 7:40 or the afternoon option at 2:55.
  • Do you want to start training for a career that currently has over 300,000 job openings and could pay up to $600,000 a year!!! That's $50,000 a month, which is more than some people make in an entire year!!! Then you need to come to the Cyber Patriot Club interest meeting on Thursday August 29th after school in room 202. The meeting starts at 3 PM and ends at 3:30. Come see Mrs. Spahr or Mr. Alley for more details!!

  • Attention students! There is still time to join SWARM! Club fee is $20 and includes all home tailgates, a t-shirt, and other special events this year! See Mrs Lester to join. Also, we will have our first SWARM meeting tomorrow morning at 7:40 in the auditorium! Come hear from class leaders about the awesome stuff they have planned for you!!!  Friday night is our back to school kick off tailgate for all students and staff at 6:00 pm on the baseball field! Lots of food, games, and music will make for a great night!
