  • Do you want to learn Japanese and Japanese culture? We are starting a Japanese culture seminar! The first meeting is Thursday, Feb 7 during FLEX in the library. If you are interested, sing up on the library door.

Wednesday, January 30
Clubs
  • French and Latin club members are invited to paint with Mrs. Turner on Thursday Jan.31st after school in the MP room from 3 till 4:30. All supplies are provided.

  • Congratulations are in order for Brookville's Cyber Patriot team. Carter Franklin, Jenny Hamm, Cameron Schulz and Paul Smith finished the State round of competition by placing in 3rd in the Open Division-Gold Tier for the entire State of Virginia! They will advance to the Semi-finals this weekend!! These Bees did an awesome job!!

  • Hey Bees! It's time to kick it in and make some noise! SWARM will be hosting a FREE PIZZA night at the Girls Varsity Basketball game on Monday, January 28th at 6pm! Sign up at Lester's room so we can plan for food! Wear your SWARM shirt and be entered in a raffle to win a $25 gift card! Pizza will be in the MultiPurpose Room - enter at the admission gate and come up!

  • We would like to congratulate the following indoor track athletes for their performances over the weekend. The following athletes ran personal bests Rebecca Hawkins in the 55 meter dash and the 300 meter dash, Susanna Germeroth in the 300 meter dash and 500 meter dash, Reagan Hunley in the 300 meter dash, Samuel Bobbey in the 300 meter dash, Zephan Quinn in the 300 meter dash and the 500 meter dash, Brent Wesolowski in the 1600, and Tanner Firkins 1600. We also had outstanding performances from Landon Mann, Izaiah Roundtree, Deja Jones, Savannah Brown, and Carlie Noel

  • Attention Forensics Team Members: Please see Mr. Markey today BEFORE LUNCH to discuss registration for tomorrow's tournament. Please plan to attend today's practice as we are discussing important dates for the rest of the season.
Athletics
  • Football conditioning will begin Monday, January 7th. All players who are not participating in another sport at this time are expected to attend. We will begin lifting at 3:05
  • There will a meeting for all girls Interested in playing softball in the spring, Tuesday at 7 o’clock in the health room. Followed by softball conditioning in the old gym from 7:15 - 8:45.  
  • Attention any boys or girls tennis players who are interested in joining the team. We are playing right after school Tuesday till 4:30. Meet Mrs. Turner at the tennis courts. No prior experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.
