Today is Black Out day! We all need to “Black” Out bullying. The color black has multiple
meanings, one of them being power. Lots of kids who are bullied feel powerless, so wearing
black shows we all have power together through love, rather than against each other through
hate. Jimi Hendrix once said, “When the power of love overcomes the love of power,
the world will know peace.”

Continuing with our Anti-bullying spirit week, remember to mix-it-up tomorrow! We can all
look different and still treat each other with respect!
