Announcements For October 12th, 2017

posted Oct 12, 2017, 10:23 AM by Brooksie Kramer

ATTENTION SENIORS: If you are interested in or plan to apply to UVA this year, please
stop by the School Counseling Office to receive information on applying
for a full tuition scholarship to attend UVA.

Interested in swimming or diving? There will be an interest meeting for students and parents on Thursday, October 19th at 6:30. The meeting will be held here at Brookville High School in the multi-purpose room. Come and find out more about the swim team and our first ever diving team.

The Thespian Club and SWARM are sponsoring the annual food drive during the month of October. Bring in canned foods for a chance to win free lunch from La Villa or La Carreta for you and 3 friends. One person from each grade level who brings the most cans will receive a $25 gift card to Target. Each grade level will have one winner for free lunch. Bring your cans to Mrs. Emanuel's room in the foreign language hall, before or after school. Let's help feed the hungry in our school and community!

Hey Swarm! If you haven't picked up your shirt yet, you can drop by the main office
at lunch or after school today to get it.

Come by the front office to purchase BEE jewelry. All proceeds will go toward the HOPE fundraiser.

Attention seniors. The Jostens representatives will be at school on Tuesday October 17th
to assist you with your graduation order. They will be set up in Front Lobby during all lunches.
All seniors need to order their cap, gown, and other graduation items on this day.
A $75 deposit is requested to place an order. Extra graduation
packets are available in the front office.

Juniors and seniors: Whether you are planning on college, a technical school, the military, or you just aren't sure yet, the ASVAB test can help you figure out the right path for you. If you are interested in joining the military, the ASVAB is a required test that the military uses to determine if you are qualified to join and what areas you would excel in. Taking the ASVAB doesn't obligate you to anything and it is free! It will be held on November 15th. Come to the school counseling office to sign up.
