Attention Sophomores, Your HOBY (pronounce it HO-BEE) application is due TODAY to Mrs. Carlson in the School Counseling Office! One Brookville student will be selected to attend a special 3 day seminar on leadership at JMU.


"Beat JF" t-shirts will be on sale during all three lunches today through November 4.

Swimmers please stop by Mrs. Summy's room (212) to pick up your registration packet today. Registration is due by Friday, October 28th.

There will be an information meeting for those interested in doing track and field. The meeting(s) will take place from 7:40 - 7:50 am and 2:50 - 3:00 pm in health room 801. For more information please email Coach Johnson at


The POSSA Club will be holding a school-wide Mock Presidential election on Tuesday, November 1st. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to vote before and after school and at all 3 lunches in the MP Room.

ATTENTION SWARM!! Do you want to get scared?? Get a group of 15 together and sign up for the group discount for Scaremare for Saturday night!!!! Forms are located outside of Lester's room. Turn in no later than Friday morning to get your discount. This is a student led activity - see Jack Simmons if you have questions!


Hey Bees! Get ready to show your school spirit during Spirit Week. On Monday, dress with your class for Hall Day. On Tuesday, it's pirate versus princess choose which look to rock! For Wednesday, dress as your favorite decade--60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s! On Thursday, it's Mathlete versus Athlete...bring out your inner dork or your inner jock! On Friday, it's B. Strong day--wear your maroon and gold!

Here are your hall day themes: Freshmen: Football Freshmen, Sophomores: Sleepy Sophomores, Juniors: Jackpot Juniors, and Seniors: Seuss Seniors 

Do you want to see Mrs. Hansotte get pied in the face? How about Mrs. Enoch or Mr. Cook? What about seeing Mr. Markey get his head shaved in front of the whole school? Help NHS and SCA raise money for the National Autism Association by donating during lunch or in your history class throughout Spirit Week, and your favorite teacher could take a pie to the face during the pep rally!
