General 
The 2016 BHS Color Run will take place on October 22 at Percivals Island Downtown! Registration forms will be in the office or you can register on EventBrite. It will be a blast! All money raised will be for the SWARM and for local charities!!

Students, you cannot bring backpacks, outside food or drinks to any sporting event at BHS.

The 3rd Annual 'Dodge for a Cure' Dodgeball tournament will be held on Wednesday, October 5th from 6:00-8:00pm. That's less than 2 weeks away!! Please check out the dodgeball table during lunches to get team sheets and permission slips. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Davis in room 427

Clubs
The first meeting of the Creative Writing Club will take place during FLEX on Thursday, September 22. If you love to write and didn't get the chance to sign up during Club Rush, see Mrs. Kramer in the library.

Bible Club invites you to the flag pole on Wednesday, September 28 before school for "See You At The Pole". This is a national time of prayer. We hope to see you there.

LISTEN UP SWARM!!!  SIGN UP IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE SWARM BOARD - PUT A CHECK NEXT TO YOUR NAME IF YOU ARE COMING!!! SIGN UP FOR THE SPIRIT COUCH OUTSIDE OF LESTER'S ROOM - DRAWING WILL BE ON FRIDAY MORNING!!!  SHIRTS WILL BE ARRIVING THIS WEEK!! BE LISTENING TO ANNOUNCEMENTS SO YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO TO GET THEM!

Attention Forensics team: there will be no practice today due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. If you have a piece that you need ordered, please see Mr. Markey at your earliest convenience.

The Anime Club will meet this Friday from 3:00-3:45 in Mrs. Davis' room. All are welcome to join!

Academics
Attention Juniors: The deadline to register for the PSAT test is Friday, Sept. 23rd. Please bring your registration form and $15 check or cash to the School Counseling Office by Sept. 23rd. 

Any current BHS Junior or Senior interested in Engineering as a possible career or college major, please stop by the School Counseling Office this week to sign up for an opportunity to participate in a mentorship/internship program in this field with AREVA, BWXT and NovaTech

ATTENTION SENIORS - If you plan to apply to The University of Virginia this year, please stop by the School Counseling Office to hear more information about a full tuition scholarship to attend UVA
