Students, did you know you could buy earbuds in the library? If yours are missing and you need them for class, stop by the library for a new pair. Earbuds are $2.

The 2016 BHS Color Run will take place on October 22 at Percivals Island Downtown! Registration forms will be in the office or you can register on EventBrite. It will be a blast! All money raised will be for the SWARM and for local charities!!

Just a friendly reminder that Miss Brookville applications are due to Mrs. Emanuel in Room 102 by tomorrow (Thursday) or today (Friday). 

Clubs
Reminder for all NHS members: your dues need to be paid by Friday, September 16. Please see Mrs. Kramer or Austin Miles to pay.

The first meeting of the BookBees book club will take place during FLEX on Tuesday, Sept. 13th. If you love to read and didn't get a chance to sign up during club rush, be sure to stop by the library and see Mrs. Kramer.

The first Anime Club meeting of the year will be this Friday, September 9th from 3:00-3:45 in Mrs. Davis's room. We will be electing officers and making a plan for future meetings. All are invited to attend!

Key Club will have its next meeting Tuesday, September 13, after school in the library. All students are welcome, whether you attended the first meeting or not. Come check us out! We will be making dog toys to donate to the Humane Society, so please bring old t-shirts and/or empty plastic water bottles to the meeting. If you haven't paid dues and would like to at the meeting, remember to bring cash or a check for $15. See Ms. Llewellyn if you have any questions.

The French club will meet Friday after school from 3:00 till 4:00. Eclairs, corn hole, and a trivia contest will take place. Bring your $5 and tee shirt ideas.

Spanish Club members: Your officers have been chosen! Your secretary is Natalie Durham, Photographer Alyssa Howington, Vice President Carter Brooks, and President Erica Terry. Congrats to each of you!

If you have signed up on the SWARM board to ride the spirit bus, you MUST come see Mrs Lester today to pay your $5 and get your permission form. We have to have an accurate count to know if we are using the second bus. The first bus is full.

Athletics
The golf team won last night over Amherst and Heritage. Top scorers were: Carter Stone as putted his way to a season low of 38. Jackson Clay and Ben Mullins each executed long, strong drives coming in at 44. And Justin Stitt was on the cusp of birdies as he took his all-time best score down to a 48.

Good luck tonight to our JV football team as they host Gretna. Go Bees!

The volleyball match vs Heritage scheduled for last night has been rescheduled for Monday 9/19. JV @ 5:30, Varsity to follow.

Boys basketball open gym will be from 5:30-7:30 tonight.
