Red Cross Club members: Wednesday, April 20th is our next blood drive! Starting TODAY, please see Mrs. Cooter before or after school to sign up to recruit donors or help during the drive! Sign-ups will be open until Wednesday after school, so stop by ASAP!

Join more than 80 of your peers and teachers at this year's Dodge for a Cure Dodgeball tournament this Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm in the new and old gyms.  Admittance is free but donations to the Pearson Cancer Center is encouraged!  Concessions will be available.  This event is open to the public!

 

Any seniors or juniors interested in going on the DC trip with POSSA club must get the required forms from Mr. Scott and return them and the money this week.  Seats go quickly!  See Mr. Scott for more details.

 

Central Virginia Community College with support from Campbell County Schools is pleased to offer an exciting line-up of career exploratory camps for elementary - high school students for the summer of 2016. Harnessing the power of STEM education and experiential learning, student participants in the 2016 Career Academies will gain valuable skills as they learn from field experts in some of the most in-demand careers now and in the future! Registration opens April 1st.   A flyer is on the information table in the library.

Key Club will have a VERY IMPORTANT MEETING this THURSDAY after school in the library. We will be holding elections for next year's club officers, and seniors will receive scholarship information. Also, any new member who has not received your pin and certificate will get them at Thursday's meeting.

 

Congratulations to the Varsity Softball Team for their 2-0 win over Altavista last night. The winning pitcher was Logan Wilgus who allowed only 1 hit.  Leading hitters for the Bees were Megan Dray with a 2 run homerun, Jordan Dail, Hannah Wright and Chelsea Moran each with singles.  The Lady Bees are now 7-0.  The JV Softball Team will play tonight at 5 right here at the Hive.  Both teams will play here on Wednesday against Rustburg with what promises to be a "barn burner"!  JV game starts at 5 on Wednesday with the Varsity following.  Come on out and support the Lady Bees!!

 

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team on their 5-4 win over Liberty yesterday. Individual winners included Jandrito Cedillo, John Light, Nathan Kennedy and Matthew Routon in Singles and the Doubles team of Cedillo and Light. Practice today @ 3:30pm.
