April 19th:    
  • Students, as we are moving closer to the end of the school year, it is important to finish strong and keep up with your work! So make sure that you continue to ask for help from teachers as you need it!
  • The winner of our Spring Break Tic-Tac-Toe prize is Joshua Stitt! Thank you for all those who participated and keep up the great work!
  • Congratulations to the competition cheerleaders on their 3rd place finish at the division 3 State Championships this weekend! Way to go Bees!

April 15th:    
  • Students - yearbooks are in the process of being published and will be distributed on May 24! If you still do not have a copy make sure to order yours ASAP - there is no guarantee there will be leftover books on distribution day. See Mrs. Brumfield to purchase yours today.
  • Good luck this Saturday to the Competition Cheerleaders as they compete at the Division 3 State Championships at William Fleming High School! Go get those rings, ladies!

April 14th:    
  • Students - yearbooks are in the process of being published and will be distributed on May 24! If you still do not have a copy make sure to order yours ASAP - there is no guarantee there will be leftover books on distribution day. See Mrs. Brumfield to purchase yours today.
  • The golf team placed well at Regionals on Monday just short of making it to state. David Wesolowski and Kaden Fus each shot an 88. And Jared Skinner pulled a personal best with an impressive 81. Coach Turner is proud.

    And don't forget, tennis practice is today from 2:30 till 4:30. Leave on the 2nd afternoon bell.

  • The golf team came in a close 3rd at the Regional qualifier last week. Maxx Newman had a personal best with a 101. Advancing to Regionals as individuals are Jared Skinner with a 92, David Wesolowski with a steady 88 and freshman Kaden Fus who, with 2 birdies, qualified for the first time with an 88. Go Bees!!!
  • Softball tryouts are today and tomorrow from 3 to 5:30. You must have a VHSL physical already on file, or you must turn one in before tryouts start.

April 5th - 8th: SPRING BREAK, NO ANNOUNCEMENTS

April 1:    
  • Students, next week is Spring Break and a time to recharge and take care of yourself! So watch your email later this week for a Self Care Tic-Tac-Toe activity that you can complete over Spring Break and have a chance to win a gift card or prize!
  • The Jostens class ring representatives will be at school two days to assist you in ordering your class ring.  The 2 ordering days will be today and tomorrow (Friday April 2nd.)   They will be setup in the front lobby during all lunches today and from 11-2 tomorrow (Friday April 2nd.)  There will also be a family night ordering session today after school until 6:15pm in the front lobby.  A $75 deposit is requested to place an order.  Class ring packets are available in the front office.  All sophomores, juniors and seniors are welcome to order.
  • The Leadership class has extra Brookville T-shirts available for purchase if you missed the opportunity to pre-order them or have decided you'd like one. They are $10 each - cash and check accepted. Please stop by Mrs. Davis's room to purchase!

  • Congratulations to the Volleyball team on their 3-0 victory over Heritage last night for Senior Night!
  • Good luck today to the JV and varsity volleyball teams as they travel to Amherst. JV at 5:30, varsity at 7:00, the golf team as they play at Winton golf course in the Region Qualifier at 1:00, the JV football team as they play at Heritage at 6:00, and the competition cheer team as they compete in the Region Qualifier at Rustburg at 7:00. Good luck tomorrow to the varsity football team as they take on JF here in the Hive for Senior Night at 7:00. Go Bees!
