In preparation for the upcoming Presidential Election in November of this year, Brookville High School Government Teachers, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Education, will be doing a voter registration drive.  Any students, faculty or staff who will be 18 years of age or older before November 8, 2016 may see Mr. Scott or Mr. Beard on the history hallway for a registration form.  Come get registered then rock the vote!


Seniors that still need to buy a Prom ticket, please realize that tomorrow (Thursday) will be the last day to buy for you since you have Senior Seminar day on Friday.  

NHS members are reminded to collect money for the "Embracing Mental Health" fundraiser.  Turn in all money and forms to Mrs. Regan on Thursday.

Attention Spanish language enthusiasts: On Saturday, May 7th we will be returning to Richmond for the 3rd annual Que Pasa festival trip! This trip includes food, music, dancing, giveaways, shopping, boat rides and more. We will leave at 10am and return around 5pm. The cost of the trip will be $2 for Spanish Club members and $5 for nonmembers. Come see any Spanish teacher for more information and to get your permission slip today! Permission slips and money are due Thursday, May 5th.

Any senior who wants to take road and range through the school must sign up by May 2nd.

Anyone that ordered a Bible Club t-shirt, needs to pay Mrs. Ewers by this Friday.  Or if you haven't ordered one and want to, stop by as well.  Friday will be the last day.  T-shirts are $10.  

Have you ever wanted to try colorguard? NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!!! All are welcome to come to the band room May 6th and 7th from 3:30-6:00. Come either day or BOTH!  Bring friends and have fun trying a new activity!

ATTENTION SENIORS! Your senior t-shirts are now available to order! Shirts are $10 and can be purchased before and after school in Mr. Markey's room 316 OR during all 3 lunches at the table by the cafeteria. See Ashlyn Booth or Mr. Markey if you have any questions.

 

Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team for their 15-0 win over E. C. Glass night. Jordan Dail was the winning pitcher throwing a no hitter and striking out 14 in 5 innings.  Leading hitters for the Bees were Danielle Calloway with a triple, Jordan Dail added a solo homerun, Megan Dray was 3 for 4 with 2 singles and a triple, Hannah Wright had a single, Jordyne Vance had 2 singles, Nadia Tibbs was 2 for 3 with a single and a double, Logan Wilgus, Kailey Huffman and Meredith each added singles.  The Lady Bees are now 13 - 0 - they play Heritage tonight at the hive.  JV game starts at 5 pm with the varsity following.  Come on out and support your Lady Bees!!

 

Congratulations to the girls soccer team on their 5 - 0 victory over Heritage last night.  Senior Captain Ashlyn Booth scored her first three goal, hat trick of her career in the win.  Other goals were scored by Maddie Martin and Bailey Elkins, and Maddie Martin and MJ Germeroth added an assist each.
