Join us the weekend for the spring musical, The Music Man. A con man comes to a Midwestern town with a scam using a boy's marching band program, but things don't go according to plan. Performances are tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday at 7:00p.m. and Sunday at 2:00p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for students and $8.00 for adults and can be purchased during lunch this week or at the door.
Starting this Friday, May 1st, the library will only be open from 7:30 to 8:00 am due to SOL testing in the library. You may check out or return books during this time. There will be very limited seating.
ALL books are due back to the library by May 15th. Be sure to return any books you have checked out in order to avoid lost book charges.
Seniors, you are reminded that your pictures for the graduation video are due to Mrs. Emanuel in room 102 by May 1. Photos will not be accepted after the deadline. Only discs or flash drives will be accepted; we will not scan your pictures.
The next meeting of the Poetry and Literature Club will be this Friday, May 1st after school in Mr. Markey's room 316. Make sure to bring a pen or pencil.
The POSSA Club will have a meeting this Friday before and after school in Mr. Scott's room to discuss two upcoming events. All members should attend one meeting.
Attention Spanish language enthusiasts: THIS Saturday, May 2nd we will be returning to Richmond for the 2nd annual Que Pasa festival trip! This trip includes food, music, dancing, giveaways, shopping, boat rides and more. We will leave at 10am and return around 5pm. The cost of the trip will be $2 for Spanish Club members and $5 for nonmembers. Come see any Spanish teacher for more information and to get your permission slip today! Permission slips and money are due TODAY.Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team for their 12-7 win over Jefferson Forest last night. The winning pitcher was Jordan Dail. Jordan now has a record of 10-2. Leading hitters for the Lady Bees were Jordyne Vance who was 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 doubles, Bailey McDaniel was 2 for 4, Elexis Jeffries was 2 for 3, and Meredith Rosser was 3 for 4. The Lady Bees will travel to Rustburg to take on the Lady Red Devils on Friday night - game time is 7 pm.
