The cafeteria will be having last Tuesdays menu, fish sandwich or Chicken Fillet or cold sandwich with french fries/garden salads/vegetarian beans.  Then on Wednesday: oven roasted chicken and cheese sticks.  We are on last week’s menu.


A note from the cafeteria about charging, The charging has gotten out of control! Starting Wednesday, February 18,2015 if you have more than 2 charges you are going to be given a Cheese Sandwich instead of the plate lunch. If you have any outstanding charges, you or your parents may go to website myschoolbucks.com and set up an account to put money on your account using a debit or credit card.  Please be considerate and pay up your debt.


Reminder to afternoon VoTech students, you need to eat 1st lunch and be ready to ride the VoTech bus on time.

Did you realize that this year has a holiday that only happens every 100 years??? The first 5 digits of pi are 3.1415 and this year on March 14th, 2015, will be the Pi Day of the Century! So to mark this occasion, the Math Department is selling T-Shirts! If you would be interested in buying a t-shirt or hoodie, please see Mr. Markey in room 316 by Friday to place your order. T-shirts are $10, long sleeve shirts are $13, and hoodies are $20. Don't miss your chance to own this once-in-a-lifetime artifact of math history!

The NHS rehearsal for new members will take place on Thursday, after school, in the auditorium.


Senior Cap and Gown pictures have been postponed to Monday, March 9.  These will be taken in the government classes.  You do not need to bring anything- caps and gowns will be provided. 


Key Club will meet right after school this afternoon in the library. This will be a brief meeting, but all members should plan to attend, especially anyone interested in going to district convention in Baltimore next month.


If you are a junior and plan to apply to take Pre-Nursing, Machine Tool, Welding, EMT or HVAC your senior year, please stop by the school counseling office today for important application information.


Varsity baseball tryouts will be from 3:00-5:00 today in the old gym. Anyone interested in trying out for either JV or Varsity baseball that needs to take the concussion test can do so this afternoon at 3:45 in the computer lab. JV tryouts will begin later this week, depending on availability of the gym. Listen to announcements for a start date.

The Boys Tennis Team will meet in the cafeteria at 3pm today! All those interested, please stop by for a quick and informative meeting.


Softball tryouts are today 5:30 to 7:30 in the BHS old gym.


All boys trying out for JV and Varsity soccer. Tryouts will begin today in the new gym after school for JV. Varsity will tryout at 4:00 after school. Every player must have a physical form on file, and wear shinguards to tryouts.


JV girls soccer tryouts will start today from 445-615 indoors at the middle school. 


Congratulations to the girls swim team on their 4th place overall finish at the state meet Friday.

The 200 medley relay (Ashley Sennett, Kelsey Childress, Ashley Mauzy, and Emmie Summy) placed 5th setting a new school  record!  

200 free Madison Sitton placed 15th

200 IM Kelsey Childress placed 9th and Ashley Sennett placed 12th

50 free Emmie Summy placed 14th

100 fly Ashley Mauzy placed 2nd setting a new school record!

500 free Ashley Sennett placed 10th and Madison Sitton placed 11th

200 free relay (Caeley McMillian, Madeline Spahr, Amanda Naylor, and Emmie Summy) placed 13th

100 back Ashley Mauzy placed 4th setting a school record!

100 Breast Kelsey Childress placed 7th

400 free relay ( Ashley Mauzy, Madison Sitton, Ashley Sennett, and Kelsey Childress) placed 6th setting a new school record!

Great job on a great season to both our girls and boys swim teams!!  Go Bees!
