A note from the cafeteria about charging, The charging has gotten out of control! Starting Wednesday, February 18,2015 if you have more than 2 charges you are going to be given a Cheese Sandwich instead of the plate lunch. If you have any outstanding charges, you or your parents may go to website and set up an account to put money on your account using a debit or credit card.  Please be considerate and pay up your debt.

Congratulations tom Emily Toth and Luke Milhoan for being selected to the 2015 All-Virginia Chorus this past weekend. Only 24 singers are chosen from each choral district to this state -level group. Luke and Emily were both the highest scorers in their respective voice parts!. GO BHS SINGERS!!

Love Your Library Month is almost coming to an end.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enter into our drawing. Did you realize that this year has a holiday that only happens every 100 years??? The first 5 digits of pi are 3.1415 and this year on March 14th, 2015, will be the Pi Day of the Century! So to mark this occasion, the Math Department is selling T-Shirts! If you would be interested in buying a t-shirt or hoodie, please see Mr. Markey in room 316 by Friday to place your order. T-shirts are $10, long sleeve shirts are $13, and hoodies are $20. Don't miss your chance to own this once-in-a-lifetime artifact of math history!

The NHS rehearsal for new members will take place on Thursday, after school, in the auditorium.

Art Club will meet Thursday right after school in the art room.  Please bring an unwanted CD for a project.  

Senior Cap and Gown pictures have been postponed to Monday, March 9.  These will be taken in the government classes.  You do not need to bring anything- caps and gowns will be provided. 

If you are a junior and plan to apply to take Pre-Nursing, Machine Tool, Welding, EMT or HVAC your senior year, please stop by the school counseling office today for important application information.

Congrats to the FFA Hippology team for placing tenth in the state at the Block and Bridle Hippology contest. The team consisted of Kaitlyn Barber, Devin Campbell, Kallie Howard, and Hallie Layne. Congrats to Kaitlyn Barber for placing as the 8th high individual in the contest overall with 65 competitors.

Reminder to all Brookville Football players that the dead period will last the remainder of this week and all of next week.  We will resume football conditioning on Monday, March 9th. 

Softball tryouts today 5:15 to 7:15 in the old gym

JV Baseball tryouts will be after school on Thursday (tomorrow) in the old gym.  If no school tomorrow, tryouts will be the next day we are in school.

Congratulations to the boys' basketball team for defeating Rustburg 48 to 45 last night to earn them a place in the regions.  The boys will play for the Conference 30 championship tonight against Heritage at 6:00 p.m.  Come out and support the Bees!

Congratulations to the wrestling team for placing fourth in the 3A state championship this weekend. Earning all-state honors was Austin Wilkerson, Jared Glover third place, Ashton Brown Second place, Zach Schmitt second place. And winning 182 pound classification State champion Jesup Hammond.
