Do you remember coming to the high school to visit when you were an 8th grader? We are now planning Shadow Week for current 8th graders to come visit Brookville on February 26, 29, and March 1-3. We need your help! If you would like to have an 8th grader shadow you during this week, please sign up in the guidance office today! You can have a shadow for first through 3rd period and/or fifth through seventh periods. See Mrs. Carlson in the guidance office if you have any questions.

The Political Science Club will meet tomorrow before and after school to discuss the School Board meeting we will be attending on Monday evening.  Mrs. Hogg will be present at our afternoon meeting as a special speaker.  Please try to attend the afternoon meeting.

Saturday is a big day at BHS!  Our 2nd Annual Prom Dress event is being hosted from 10:00-2:00.   If you're still in search of a prom dress, formal wear, prom accessories or make-up and nail ideas, we'll have what you're looking for!  If you haven't ordered your tux, this is the time to do it!  In addition, come and enjoy watching your peers model many of the dresses available for purchase during our fashion show starting at noon.

Students: remember the next blood drive is Tuesday, February 9th, only a few weeks away! If you are interested in donating blood, please see the table in the foyer before school or during lunch to sign up!

Are you a senior and a member of the Central VA Federal Credit Union? Then you are eligible to enter our annual Joseph P. Crouch Memorial Scholarship! Not yet a member?  Stop by the Bee Branch before February 5 during lunch to find out how!

ATTENTION ACE team members: We will be competing TODAY at Amherst. Be in Mrs. Cardwell's room by 4:15 as the bus will be leaving at 4:30. We will still be having Conference Championships this Saturday. See Mr. Markey if you have any questions.

ATTENTION Forensics Team Members: The SouthWest Virginia Forensics League championships have been moved to February 4th. Practice on February 2nd is a MANDATORY practice as it will be our last one before both the SWVaFL championships AND conference championships. Please make plans to attend. See Mr. Markey if you have any questions or cannot attend for any reason.
