The Jostens graduation representatives will be here on Tuesday, March 22nd during all lunches in the multi-purpose room to deliver & collect final balances for graduation items. Final balances must be paid during lunch with cash or money order as (No Personal Checks) will be accepted. Students can also pay online any time before Monday, March 21st or call 1-800-JOSTENS.

 

All students are to report to the cafeteria at their designated lunch time. You are not to stay in classrooms or unauthorized areas for lunch.

 

The High School Regional Science Fair was held on March 5, 2016 at CVCC.   The students did a great job presenting their projects to the judges.   Here is a list of the category winners:

Congratulations to the Pi Day Challenge champions! The student champion is Kristina Viar with 209 digits of Pi memorized correctly! And we have a new teacher champion...Mr. Alley with 150 digits of Pi memorized correctly! Thank you to everyone who participated! Make sure to visit YouTube and search for Brookville Pi Day to see the videos of this year's pie-ing in the face of Mr. Markey....they are intense!

 

Good Luck to our 70 Chorus students tomorrow at the District VI Choral Performance Assessment at Radford University!! They are giving up a day off from school to represent Brookville and hopefully, bring home Superior ratings!

 

Students: please join the Red Cross Club in our efforts to collect much needed supplies for our troops overseas. We are collecting personal hygiene and food products from now until Friday the 25th to be sent to local troops currently serving in Kuwait and Djibouti. Please see Mrs. Cooter for details.

 

Attention students: If you are interested in trying out for BHS Sideline Cheerleading for Fall 2016, please pick up an informational packet in the Main Office. Open gym/conditioning sessions are currently taking place every Tuesday from 4:30-6:00 in the BHS Auxiliary Gym! All participants must have a current physical! Sideline Clinic will be held Tuesday May 3 through Thursday May 5 from 4:30 until 6:00 and tryouts will be held on Friday May 6, beginning at 4:30.
