Prom tickets will go on sale the week after spring break. The cost will be $20/person. If you plan to bring a date from another school, you must have an approved date form from the office BEFORE you can purchase tickets. If this applies to you, you need take care of this as soon as possible. Prom guest forms are available at the front office counter. Also, if you are bringing a BHS Underclassman (9th or 10th grader) there is a separate guest form for you to fill out. All forms are due back before April 14th.
The Spring Bloodmobile will be held on Tuesday, April 21st in the gym. Sign-up during all three lunches today through next Friday in order to be guaranteed a time. Students who are 16 must have a signed Parental Consent Form. Please see Mrs. Reid if you have any questions. The blood drive is open to the community, so invite family, friends and neighbors to come by and donate. No appointment is necessary.
All NHS members are to turn in their collected change by Thursday.
Key Club will meet today after school in the library. We will be discussing officer elections for next school year, scholarship information for seniors, and our final service projects for the year. All members should plan to attend. Officer elections will take place at our meeting on April 14th.
Congratulations to the varsity boys soccer team on their 3-1 overtime win over Rustburg last night. Goals were scored by Ahmed Abdelnabi who scored unassisted. The second goal was scored in over time by Mario Villasana assisted by Will Bradt. The final goal was scored by Eric Laughlin assisted by Ahmed Abdelnabi.
There will be an informational meeting about boys basketball open gyms for any boy not playing a spring sport in Mr. Jester's room at 3:00 on Thursday, April 2. If you are interested in trying out for basketball next season, you need to be at this meeting.
