Jostens representatives will be in the front lobby for graduation orders today during all three lunches.

Senior make up photos are October 12.  If you plan on taking make ups, there is a sign-up sheet in the front office.  You must use an elective period to sign up.

We are moving HOPE night to October 16.  Shirts are still available to be purchased and most sizes are still available.

It’s that time of the year again! The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program, (also known as HO-BEE) is looking for an outstanding sophomore student who possesses strong leadership skills. Could this be you? Please see Mrs. Carlson in the school counseling office to pick up an application, which is due October 23rd. If you are selected, you will attend a 3 day seminar in June at JMU, at no cost to you! 

Any Junior or Senior interested in Engineering as a career choice, please come by the School Counseling office to obtain information regarding a possible internship with AREVA.

The Dance team will have practice after school today in the auditorium. 

Green Team will meet tomorrow after school in Miss Cardwell’s classroom.

Has all this rain left you feeling chilly?  Let the Bee Branch help!  Come by your student-run credit union, which is open to students and teachers during all lunch periods, to start a savings or checking account and receive a Starbucks gift card and coffee mug to keep you warm this fall!

The Thespian Club and Miss Brookville contestants are sponsoring a Canned Food Drive for the Blue Ridge Area food bank during the month of October.  Please bring your canned food or cash donations to your 7th period teacher.  The class that collects the most cans per capita will win a pizza party.  Let’s help feed the hungry in our community!

Spanish Club members: We will be meeting Thursday in the cafeteria right after school to vote for this year's Spanish Club t-shirt design. Stop by any Spanish teacher's room to see the three design options. Snacks will be provided!

The BHS Choral Department will be presenting their annual dinner concert TOMORROW night at 6:00 in the cafeteria. This year’s theme is DISCO DINNER and the menu is barbecue sandwich, baked beans and cole slaw, homemade desserts and beverages. The cost for adults is $7 and students $5. It will be great fun!

Congratulations to the JV football team on their 36-12 victory over Rustburg last night.
