The front office has t-shirts and bracelets for sale. All sizes are still
available. You can purchase before or after school or during your
lunch. Make your purchase before they are all gone. Shirts are $10
for regular sizes. $12 for 2X and above.
Senior make up photos
are October 12. If you plan on taking make ups, there is a sign-up sheet
in the front office. You must use an elective period to sign up.
It’s that time of the year
again! The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program, (also known as HO-BEE) is
looking for an outstanding sophomore student who possesses strong leadership
skills. Could this be you? Please see Mrs. Carlson in the school counseling
office to pick up an application, which is due October 23rd.
If you are selected, you will attend a 3 day seminar in June at JMU, at no cost
Choral Department will be presenting their annual dinner concert next week on
Wednesday night, Oct 7 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.This year’s theme is DISCO
DINNER and will feature music of the BeeGees, Earth, Wind and Fire, Village
People, ABBA, Carole King and Queen. The dinner menu is barbecue sandwich,
baked beans and cole slaw, homemade desserts and beverages. The cost for adults
is $7 and students $5. Plan to come and do The Hustle with us!! It will be

Club members: Anyone interested in helping with Tomahawk's Fall Carnival
this Saturday should stop by Ms. Llewellyn's room to sign up no later than
Thursday. Also, if you haven't yet received your Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box,

Celebrate your freedom to read!
Did you know that some school don't allow students to read books like Harry
Potter? This week, your library is celebrating Banned Books Week.
Stop in to see the books that have been banned or challenged in other schools,
and have your picture taken with your favorite one. Your picture could be
displayed in the library or win you an epic prize.
The French Club will meet TODAY after
school for a movie and ice cream. Bring T-shirt designs. It's not too
late to join the club!
Art Club will have a meeting immediately
after school TOMORROW in the art room. Please be there by 3:00.
We will have several important things to discuss and plan.
Are you hungry? The dance team is
selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts. See Mrs. Summy in room 212 if you would
like to order some.
The girls tennis team will play after
school Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30. Come to the courts with your physical.
